What DXCalc is
DXCalc is Dxter's Evony Battle Calculator, the calculator players have used for years to work out a fight before sending troops. You fill in both armies, each side's research, heroes and the defender's fortifications, then press Rain HellFire. It tells you who wins, what each side loses, and how many rounds it takes.
The Age I version matches the game Taking London is built on. It opens on its own site, in a new tab.

Using it for Taking London
- Troops and fortifications: fill in each side's numbers, the same as in the game.
- Research: it starts every level at 10, so set each one to your real level. It only goes up to 10.
- Heroes: "atk" and "int" are the hero's attack and intelligence.
- Leave alone: the trap rate and "pow" settings next to the fortifications. They're the calculator's own defaults.
Could it be different in Taking London?
There's a chance. DXCalc was made for the original Evony, not for Taking London. Its troop stats match Taking London's own, and the battles we've measured behave the way the original game did. But nobody has checked it against real battle reports from Taking London yet, and a server can change rules without saying so: research above level 10, items, heroes or anything else.
So use it as a strong guide, not a promise. If a real battle comes out differently, post the report and we'll work out why. The tab runs the same rules here on the wiki, using Taking London's troop stats, and links straight to any battle you set up.
